Central City Board of Education met at 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 16th, 2009 in the Central
City Board of Education room at

was moved by Belitz, seconded by Armatys, that it is hereby determined that
this meeting was preceded by advanced publicized notice in the Republican-Nonpariel newspaper and by posting notice at the
Superintendent's Office at 1711 15th Avenue, and is hereby declared to be
duly convened in open session. Motion carried 6-0. Ayes: Armatys, Belitz, Malm,

The
school district treasurer's financial report disclosed a reconciled unencumbered
balance of $1,067,847.40 as of
The
high school activities fund account disclosed a balance on
The
Board heard presentations on the Reading First Program and the Career Fair.

was moved by Malm, seconded by Belitz, to approve the consent agenda action
items, which included minutes of the January 19th meeting, financial
review of funds, February Investment Plan, option students, and January claims.

approve the 2009-2010 driver’s education fee of $220 for in district students
and $250 for out of district students and set teachers hourly wage at $20. Motion carried 6-0. Ayes:

the Wrestling
team for their accomplishments and the following students that made it to
state: Connor Bolling,
Eric Knight, Kevin Smith, Logan Williams, Josh Dickinson, Noland Broekemier, Noah Broekemier, Kameron Lenhart, Travis Maresh,
Levi Dixon, Tyson Sutton and also to Coaches
Garfield, Ganser and Maresh. Motion carried 6-0. Ayes:
